Occurring this year on November 28th, #GivingTuesday is held annually on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving (in the US) and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday to kick off the holiday giving season and inspire people to collaborate in improving local communities and to give back in impactful ways to the charities and causes they support.
By joining the #GivingTuesday campaign, Coders Who Travel Inc., a budding 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization based in Maryland, hopes to design evidence-based innovative programs that include bridge-builders who travel to provide needed computer or mathematical coding skills to individuals in up-and-coming places around the world.
