Efua O. is a sustainability professional specializing in developing, coordinating and managing education and outreach programs for local governments, institutions and businesses to assist them to meet their sustainability goals. Efua’s extensive experience with diverse communities and multi-cultural groups in the USA and international affiliates in Ghana give her a unique perspective. With a background in romance languages, Efua works with community partners and leads cross-jurisdictional groups to provide sustainability education and technical assistance to underserved populations. She particularly values being a community resource hub by connecting people to data, information and resources.
Sustainability is more than a career to her – a dedicated advocate of all things sustainable. Efua actively encourages everything from public transit to backyard gardens and recycling. Everyone has a part to play to conserve limited resources. Her ideal is a world where people have equal access to resources in a free, fair and sustainable manner.
Efua runs a translation agency. and is the CEO of JolieAfrique Tours & Consulting. One of her personal passions in sponsoring brilliant, but financially – challenged girls for high school education in Northern Ghana.
